Found Property

The Everest Metropolitan Police Department is currently holding the following items as found or abandoned property:

An Apple IPhone, found 11/13/2013 under case number 13-4272

A Coleman Air Compressor and A HP Computer with Flat Panel Monitor found 11/28/2013 under case number 13-4449

A car key fob type remote found 11/17/2013 under case number 13-4310

A Breath Alcohol Tester for use on a key fob found 12/16/2013 under case number 13-4718

Items not claimed within 30 days of this posting may be sold, destroyed or converted to department use at the discretion of the EMPD.

Policy Regarding Found Bicycles

Due to the high volume of recovered abandoned bicycles,the Everest Metropolitan Police Department will only hold found bicycles for a guaranteed period of 30 days, after which they will disposed of as deemed proper. If your bicycle is stolen, it is your responsibility to report the theft. If you have not, and yours is one of these recovered bicycles, it will be disposed of.


To protect our citizen's right to be free from criminal attack and be secure in their homes and possessions. The Everest Metropolitan Police Department will utilize all means at its disposal to accomplish this mission.
