Request the speed trailer/monitoring board be placed on a street in your neighborhood. Informing drivers of their current speed may reduce speeds and improve safety. The speed trailer/monitoring board can give residents an accurate measure of how fast drivers are going through their neighborhood.

Generally, requests are taken and the speed trailer/monitoring board placed in a neighborhood from mid-March through the beginning of November. They are typically placed in areas where they do not affect traffic, parking restrictions, seal coating, snow emergencies, narrow streets or street sweeping.

Amount of time until request is fulfilled varies depending on schedule and availability.
